Foam in the washer
The problem
During the bottle washing process there is an uncomfortable foam formation.
The origin of the problem
The problem may be caused by the wrong type of defoamer being used, or by the wrong concentration.
Some adhesive formulations are more prone to foaming than others.
The solution
Surfactants improve the penetration of caustic material into dirt, control foaming, facilitate label removal, and aid in the drainage and rinsing of bottles.
